A couple of weeks ago Robert van Gijssel in Dutch newspaper de Volkskrant concluded that these days a lot of singers (want to) sound like Björk. Whether they're American (Simone White), Dutch (Bloem de Ligny) or from Iceland itself (Emiliah Torrini), all over the world singers take on that fragile, delicate whispering voice, Van Gijssel found out.
I found Samaris with Góða tungl, a song which sounds like a duet of Björk and Asgeir. But as Van Gijssel concludes, people tend to forgive the copycats and so do I. The song itself is beautiful.
